I bought them recently and have watched and re-watched them. LOL I also adored The Sound of Music and still do... what a classic! Climb Every Mountain still gives me the chills and makes me cry. Rocky Horror Picture Show... oh hell yeah, especially when you could catch it in a theater and scream at the actors, throw toilet paper, spray people with water bottles, and do the Time Warp!

Grease!!! Who doesn't love it. Went to see it on Broadway this summer before it closed. Saw it about 10 years ago on Broadway. Thought we were seeing Rosie O'Donnell as Rizzo and instead it was the last day of Maureen McCormmick Marcia of the Brady Bunch. Not so much believable as Rizzo but still good. Before the play the DJ dragged us on stage for a dance contest. Something I thought I would never do but Usher grabbed my arm and wouldn't let go with spotlight on me. So I actually danced on a broadway stage. Could add that to my resume for future use. ya, right!!!!!

I'm not a fan of musicals. For some reason I've just never liked them. I can't stand random singing in the middle of life's day-to-day about the events that are taking place. It just never made any sense to me.
The one exception I'll make is Sweeney Todd. Now that was twisted.

Grease ok(sorry just ok-if it happens to be on and nothing else interests me-though I do like most of the music)Grease 2 not so much(Holden Caulfield is hot though)... SoM-I pretty much start crying when the Captain joins in the singing and don't stop til it's done(I am so gay!...LOL)...Julie Andrews has to be the most beautiful woman of all time-bar none... Never got to see RHPS in the theaters(my loss)when it finally came out on video I really wasn't ready for how gay it is...I had heard all the music long before I had ever seen it...And some of it is just brilliant There's a Light is one of my faves...

I have yet to give Sweeny Todd a try it looks just a bit too dark for my taste...
