The '80s weren't exactly memorable in terms of theme music for wrestlers. Anything around the time of WWF: The Music Vol. 3 on out though...totally awesome. Here are mine, which did you like?
10. John Cena "My Time Is Now"
I don't care what anyone says, this music sounds like a superhero's theme.
09. Shawn Michaels "Sexy Boy"
Michaels did some of his best entrances to this gem that reeks of the late '80s hair rock. Funny how some bands are only remembered for their hair but their music sounds like this timeless piece
08. The Rock "If Ya Smell What The Rock Is Cookin"
Look, nothing beats the line contained within the song "The Rock Says Know Your Damn Role."
07. Legion of Doom
Picture two guys that look like something outta Mad Max and you have Road Warrior Hawk and Road Warrior Animal and their music will let you know you just stepped into the ring with the wrong two people.
06. D-Generation X
Only one of the most awesome stables in wrestling history, these guys coined the term "Suck It" (a line Kathy Griffin has proudly taken the torch for) and immortalized it with this song.
05. Gangrel/The Brood "Blood"
Look, if you haven't heard this music, it's so generic that, unless you run across a real hardcore wrestling fan, they might just think you're trying to amp up for your VTM Party.
04. Edge "You Think You Know Me"
I'm talking about the original Edge Theme, not this Rated R Superstar crap they're forcing on us these days.
03. Kane
It doesn't get more terrifying than watching this guy come down the walkway and into the ring and the music really puts that fear o' hell into ya.
02. Triple H "Time To Play The Game"
You know you're fucking great when Motorhead does not one but TWO theme songs for you.
01. The Undertaker
If you need an explanation, you may also need a Tombstone Pile Driver.
